Inmate Visitation

All inmates at the Martin County Security Center are allotted a maximum of thirty minutes on visitation day. This allotted time can be broken up into two 15 minute visits. Prior arrangements may be made with the Sheriff if a longer period of time may be need for a special circumstance. 

Visitation for all inmates at the Martin County Security Center is held every Saturday and Sunday.  


9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 

12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

Visitors must be signed in by 4:15 p.m. to be guaranteed a visit.  

Visitation sign-in will be not accepted after 4:15 p.m. 

Video Visitation 

Video visitation is available from 7:00am-10:00pm 7 days a week.  To schedule a video visit, go to 


Visitation Rules:

  • Cell Phones are Strictly Prohibited during Visitation.
  • Each visitor must have a valid photo I.D. and be at least 18 years of age. Anyone under the age of eighteen shall be accompanied by a legal guardian.
  • Only three visitors and a child are allowed in the visitation room at any given time for a particular inmate.
  • NO unattended child will be allowed in the building at any time during the visit. 
  • NO former inmates will be allowed to visit until they have been out of jail for at least thirty (30) days or until approved by the Sheriff or Jail Commander.
  • Martin County Sheriff’s Department reserves the right to refuse anyone the right to visitation or stop visitation at any time. 
  • Any visitor who becomes disruptive, disorderly, unruly, or abusive will be removed from the facility immediately. If a violation of Indiana Law has occurred, criminal charges or arrest may occur. The person may also be prevented from further visitation at the Martin County Security Center.
  • Visitations for all inmates is 30 minutes only.

Chaplain Visitation 

Inmates are allowed to have minister visitation within our facility. A minister has to be pre-approved through the Jail Commander and/or Sheriff Roush.
